Wynn Farms is named respectfully after Winifred Donahue who was instrumental in purchasing Sarah's first horse, "Tucker". Win is Jack's Mom and has always been completely emotionally supportive of both Sarah and Laura's riding careers. When Grandma (as everyone calls her) Donahue passes on her legacy of love for her son and family will live on through this farm.

Purchased in 2003 after a long search we could all see the potential it offered. The barn itself required a great deal of renovation before we could move in. New well, electric service, fencing for pastures, stall repairs, tack room, bathroom, and a huge general clean up were just a few things facing us before moving in. It continues to be an ongoing project. We moved our horses to the farm in October 2003.

The original farm on Gale Road was purchased in 1992 and included only the house and a small utility barn. The pastures, riding ring and barn were constructed in winter 1994. Six stalls were thought at the time to be more than enough room to house the Donahue's personal horses and maybe a couple of boarders. When Wynn Farms became a business the lovely little barn began to shrink.
